Experience
Sean LeBeauf is an experienced educator and basketball coach based in Ama, Louisiana. A graduate of The University of Montevallo, Sean LeBeauf has spent his career leading students both in the classroom and on the court. Throughout his career, LeBeauf has been responsible for planning and directing the recruitment, conditioning, training, and performance of student athletes. He has been both the Assistant and Head Coach at various Universities and high schools throughout the country. Of which has included Destrehan High School, Archbishop Shaw High School, Paris Junior College, Centenary College, Southern University and The University of Arizona.
Over the course of his career, Sean LeBeauf has developed extensive leadership and communication skills combined with high energy, integrity and enthusiasm for intercollegiate athletics. Today, Sean is the proud founder of New Wave Performance, an organization focused on growing the sport of basketball in the Mid-south region. As the owner of New Wave Performance, LeBeauf looks to both teach and mentor local athletes. In doing so, Sean and the New Wave team, equip young athletes for a successful future both on and off the court.
Sean LeBeauf served as Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the Prairie View A&M University women’s basketball team for two years. He is currently an Assistant Coach for the women’s basketball team at the University of California, Riverside, alongside fellow Assistant Coach Hasten Beamer and under Head Coach Nicole Powell.

At New Wave Performance, Sean LeBeauf and his team are committed to developing fundamental and advanced basketball skills. Sean and the team not only teach players the fundamentals of basketball, but they teach the athletes proper work ethic and discipline. Sean LeBeauf also assists local coaches with scouting and analytics, often times connecting players with coaches for college opportunity. Located in Ama, LA, New Wave Performance is focused on growing the sport of basketball in the Mid-south region.
