Sean LeBeauf is an experienced educator and basketball coach based in Ama, Louisiana. A graduate of The University of Montevallo, Sean LeBeauf has spent his career leading students both in the classroom and on the court. While he taught high school math for several years early in his career, it soon became clear that coaching basketball was his true passion. Throughout his career, LeBeauf has been responsible for planning and directing the recruitment, conditioning, training, and performance of student athletes. He has been both the Assistant and Head Coach at various Universities and high schools throughout the country. Of which has included Destrehan High School, Archbishop Shaw High School, Paris Junior College, Centenary College, Southern University and The University of Arizona.
While at Destrehan High School, Sean LeBeauf coached the girls’ basketball team to become the Green County District Champions. After changing positions to work at Archbishop Shaw High School, Coach LeBeauf continued to see success from his coaching. In both 2000 and 2001, LeBeauf led the mens’ team to become District 10-5A Champions. While he saw great success in these early years at high schools, LeBeauf eventually moved onto college teams, where he continues to coach today.
Over the course of his career, Sean LeBeauf has developed extensive leadership and communication skills combined with high energy, integrity and enthusiasm for intercollegiate athletics. Today, Sean is the proud founder of New Wave Performance, an organization focused on growing the sport of basketball in the Mid-south region. As the owner of New Wave Performance, LeBeauf looks to both teach and mentor local high school athletes. In doing so, Sean and the New Wave team, equip young athletes for a successful future both on and off the court. Additionally, New Wave Performance helps support local coaches and develop positive coaching strategies. The relationships Sean LeBeauf has built throughout both this endeavor and his earlier career has led to a robust network, allowing Sean and New Wave Performance to connect athletes with potential coaches and college opportunities.
Sean LeBeauf served as Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the Prairie View A&M University women’s basketball team for two years. He is currently an Assistant Coach for the women’s basketball team at the University of California, Riverside, alongside fellow Assistant Coach Hasten Beamer and under Head Coach Nicole Powell.

At New Wave Performance, Sean LeBeauf and his team are committed to developing fundamental and advanced basketball skills. Sean and the team not only teach players the fundamentals of basketball, but they teach the athletes proper work ethic and discipline. Sean LeBeauf also assists local coaches with scouting and analytics, often times connecting players with coaches for college opportunity. Located in Ama, LA, New Wave Performance is focused on growing the sport of basketball in the Mid-south region.
